TIME TRIAL
The magic behind the speed increase
Dr.Footy insoles do not instantly increase your speed by magic they use the science of bio mechanics and kinetics.
1. The built in heel raise reduces the time your foot is in contact with the ground by 5mm per step.
2. The materials used absorb the kinetic energy your body produces whilst running.
3. This kinetic energy which is absorbed at heel strike is released at toe off propelling the foot forward.
4. The realignment of the feet means that muscle groups work more efficiently. Over time muscle structure realigns and automatically further increases speed .
5. The anti-slip top cover ensures increased traction and so ensures no kinetic energy is lost to the ground.
Why dr footy insoles make you faster
How we conducted the time trials
After several years of research by a sports podiatrist in colaboración with sports Doctors, physios, fitness coaches and a multitude of amateur and professional footballers.
Dr Footy have produced a bespoke running device that combines biomechanical control with uniquely designed repositioning components.
After concluding comprehensive speed trials on amateur and professional footballers all participants recorded an immediate speed increase over short sprints.
Positive feedback was noted in several key areas.
1. Improved stopping.
2. Faster pace over short sprints.
3. More foot control on turning sharply.
4. Notable reduction in foot and ankle sprains.
5. Marked reduction in lower and upper leg muscle strains.
6. Immediate reduction in post match knee pain.
Accurate field trials with laser speed gates were conducted.
The players participating were from different levels and age groups. From professional footballers to amateur players so the standards were extremely varied.
The trials were conducted on both playing surfaces Astro tuft and grass.
The times were recorded and collated in the presence of an official referee.
Instantaneous speed increases were recorded in 100% of participants. Ranging from 2% to 15% .
Over time further speed increases were noted in players as muscle groups balanced out. And due to less injuries more time was spent on the pitch and not on the physios couch.
